Hello, Hi people welcome I hope you are all good, today's topic is Do you Let God in Wholeheartedly or Halfheartedly? Let's not waste any time let's get straight into it, hope you enjoy
We need to ask ourselves this question at least one a week, do we tell God everything and let him into our lives fully or half way. This is an example I got from my fave T D Jakes he says that we should see our life as a house, and the different problems in our lives as the rooms in the house and when company comes to the house, we let them in the living room and if they get to know us better they can come to the kitchen, but there are some rooms in our houses that we don't want people to go.
As we see our lives as rooms I want you to identify rooms that you don't Let God in, because as long as we treat God as our company we will never have a loving long-term relationship. We need to learn that we don't have to be perfect before we let God in, we will always lock him out of areas that only he can clean, and that makes us treat him like company.
We come across situations in our lives where we feel like God won't be able to help us, and we can help ourselves so when he comes to visit we hide that problem from him and we direct him to other problems. We need to understand that God doesn't come to those that are perfect he is looking for the broken ones those people that are going through a lot in their lives and have lost faith and are on the verge of given up, he wants areas in your life that he can clear he doesn't want to come to a clean space where there is nothing to clean, he wants to be hands on resolving situations and cleaning them up.
We have to be open to God, he knows the troubles you go through in life, but he wants you to tell him this will not only benefit you but it strengthens the relationship you have with him.
Open your house to God, let him visit every room in your life which needs healing don't hide anything away from him, always remember he is the solution to your problem only he can fix it, man can't fix your problem only the most High can do so, so anytime you come across a situation where you know you can't handle "Let Go and Let God", that's the Motto no problem is too heavy for God.
To conclude, 1 Kings 8:61 says; "Let your heart, therefore, be wholly devoted to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day." give your all to God, don't only give him one side of your heart give all your heart to him this means being wholeheartedly allow God to take charge of your life. Stay Bless
Love Jess
